Toward that end, we have implemented QT9™ ISO Quality Management Software that goes above and beyond the requirements for ISO 9001:2008 while automating our entire quality management system. As a result of this commitment to quality, ASG has been certified by TUV Rhineland as AS9100 compliant.
Why was this AS9100C certification important to ASG?
ASG wants to assure customer satisfaction, by producing, and continually improving, safe, reliable cable assemblies that meet or exceed customer, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. By achieving AS9100C certification, we clearly demonstrate to our customers that we have reviewed our procedures, instituted mechanisms to track and resolve issues and created an understanding of the linkage between individual practices within our manufacturing matrix. This review has allowed ASG to provide unsurpassed customer service by consistently meeting deadlines in providing cost effective, fully tested cable solutions.
Although AS9100 certification is specific to the aerospace industry, it provides the framework for us to assure we have a process in place to provide a means to assure we meet the standards required for any of the markets we serve.

Adopted in all 50 states, the NEC is the benchmark for safe electrical design, installation, and inspection to protect people and property from electrical hazards. The NEC addresses the installation of electrical conductors, equipment, and raceways; signaling and communications conductors, equipment, and raceways; and optical fiber cables and raceways in commercial, residential, and industrial occupancies.
Products are designed and built to meet NFPA 70 electrical code.
Our engineering team reviews all product requests to assure compliance to appropriate requirements and particularly when products are used in hazardous or extreme environments.
ASG manufacturers cabling intended for safe operation in and around potentially explosive atmospheres in compliance with the IEC 60079-0 standards and ATEX (94/9/EC) Directive.
IEC 60079-0:2011 specifies the general requirements for construction, testing and marking of electrical equipment and Ex Components intended for use in explosive atmospheres. Electrical equipment complying with this standard is intended for use in hazardous areas in which explosive gas atmospheres, caused by mixtures of air and gases, vapours or mists, exist under normal atmospheric conditions.
We can provide panels and enclosures for use ATEX 137 hazardous areas for use in Group I or Group II, Zone 0,1,2,20,21,22. locations.
Finished assemblies are tested for continuity/resistance, insulation resistance, dielectric (hiPot test), and ground bond. Connectorized cables are 100% tested for pin-out continuity. Our engineering team can even design a test fixture for field testing of cables if required.
